Recently opened, Hallmark Care Homes Hutton View is a beautiful purpose-built, 77-bedroom care home in Hutton, offering high standards of residential and dementia care.
Project
The project’s focus was to create one of the most innovative and advanced care homes in the Essex area. Fitted out to the highest specification, with industry leading residential and dementia care measures, the home was tailored to meet the individual needs and wants of residents.
BetweenGlassBlinds
The project specified tilt and lift hardwired blinds for ease of use. BetweenGlassBlinds supplied FD30 fire rated units with 6.4mm laminate glass to complement the fire glass used. A mix of individually wired and grouped units able to work off the same power supply, were installed across offices and studies throughout the Home.
Bespoke made, the sleek and state-of-the-art motorised blinds are powered externally, with nothing to detract from the refined and contemporary finish. These blinds can be activated by a switch or by remote control.
Additionally, the integral blinds provided extra infection control, as the units are hermetically sealed and safe from moisture and odours.
The totally cordless system, locked between the two panes of glass, makes maintenance and upkeep minimal.
